I purposefully didn't choose a specific item for stretch goals yet as I wanted to get some backer feedback on the item we go with.
I do have a third patch design, and maybe a fourth (see sketches below), but I was also thinking that these first two main designs would make excellent enamel pins.
The big issue with pins is the cost — they are more than 1.5x the cost of patches at similar quantities.
So my question to backers is this: do you want a third patch, or would you like a lapel pin?
The pins would be 1.5" in height, max. The patches will be in the 4.25" height range.
Let me know your preference for pin or patch, and then your preference for the design. Sound off in the comments section below.
Of course, we may be able to unlock all of these designs as both patches and pins, but for now let's assume we just get to go with just one additional item. I'd like to start promoting that stretch goal in the main campaign, and if I need to finalize some art I'd like to do that soon.
Regular backers know that we have made additional items happen in past campaigns by running some side-campaigns to fund them, and I am of course totally open to that for these designs as well.
We have for sure unlocked one patch stretch goal, and are close to covering a single enamel pin (if we hit $3250 I think we can do an enamel pin).
So we can keep the option of side-campaigns to raise funds directly for additional items not unlocked as stretch goals if there is interest in that.
